Monday, marked the end of my first two weeks on the Telligent Services Team. While every developer could probably tell you their own different experience working with the team, everyone definitely has something different to say. Personally, coming from the Support Team, then going to Services, is like night and day. While support is time consuming, and is like running for a moving finish line, services is extremely fast paced, demanding, and very accountable. Support to me wasn't ever very difficult, however services is quite the opposite. I've learned countless new skills in just the past two weeks, and hope to keep on learning as fast as I have, while staying on track.
From late nights, to early mornings, the pressure to finish projects and push out latest is huge! It's been one of the most demanding two weeks of work I've experienced in a while, and yet I've loved every minute of it!
I'm currently wrapping up the project I've been working on since moving over to services, and am excited to see it go live! It's taught me a lot, and am really ready to use those lessons on the next project.
Hopefully I'll be blogging more, but it's not a priority of mine...stay tuned :)
